Overlord vs. Players
Conan is an asymmetrical miniature game for 2 to 5 players that offers exciting adventures. One player plays as the Overlord, who controls the monsters and other bloodthirsty creatures, while the other players play as Conan and his companions. The game is played in scenarios, the core box contain 9 scenarios. First the Adventurers compose their team, then the Overlord assembles the troops at his disposal. In a classic scenario the heroes have an objective (to steal a mysterious jewel belonging to a necromancer, to rescue a princess from the clutches of the Picts, etc.). The Overlord will do everything to stop them. But in certain scenarios, The Overlord will also have its own objectives.
On their turn, players have two choices: take action, or catch their breath to regain energy. When they take action, they will spend gems, which represent their energy, to perform different actions. Comme combattre, fouiller un coffre, se déplacer, etc. The Overlord plays differently. Indeed, he has a board at his disposal where tiles are placed representing the troops and creatures he controls. The cost of activating the tiles depends on their placement, as the tiles move once they have been used. The Overlord must be careful when spending his gems to take the heroes by surprise.
