Batman™: Gotham City Chronicles is a scenario-based miniatures board game where 2 to 4 players control the Dark Knight and his allies in their never-ending battle against crime through an asymmetrical and open game system.
Each game involves an action-packed fight where two sides face off. One of the players assumes the role of the Superillain and controls the most notorious criminals of Gotham City. The remaining players take control of the Heroes, who must work together as a team to foil the Supervillain’s plots. Each side takes turns, pitting their strategies against each other in order to achieve their objectives.
Each game of Batman™: Gotham City Chronicles is played according to a scenario which describes the plot, location of the action, setup of the game, number of turns, and the specific objectives each side is trying to achieve in order to win the game.With more than 20 missions and more than 160 miniatures, you can expect countless hours of play in the most iconic and dangerous places in Gotham City!
For the third season of Batman™: Gotham City Chronicles, Paul Grogan and his team put their all into editing and rewriting the rules and missions in the Corebox to make everything more fluid and easier to understand.
Alternative gaming modes
The game has also been given a Versus mode, in which each side can recruit either Heroes and their allies, or Villains and their henchmen, in adventures specially designed for this gaming mode. Each Hero and Villain has a unique power as part of this mode, which should be used wisely to carry their side to victory.
Season three of Batman™: Gotham City Chronicles also features a backward-compatible Solo-Cooperative mode which can be used to play every single mission and adventure without needing to play the Supervillain. .
The game is currently nearing the end of its validation phases and its first print tests. Shortly after the backers from this third campaign have received their orders, the game will be made available in our online store.
